Introducing Yoga's Little Sister...

No, not me - Chakradance! Here's a 3 minute video explaining Chakradance which has been described as a little sister to yoga. That would be a rather grandiose claim if it weren't for the fact that since the earliest times, human beings have used dance in ceremony, celebration, to bring people together - and for healing both on an individual and group level.  In contrast to the structured movements of yoga, Chakradance is about spontaneous, 'freestyle' movement, yet both offer a way to get out of your head and into your body to connect deeply with yourself, experience meditative or higher states of consciousness and bring about release and inner changes. Chakradance is also great fun and brings an uplifting feeling of freedom and a sense of well being.

The next Chakradance event is on 12th February at Shambhala Studio, Maple Ave, Leigh on Sea, SS9 1PR arrivals 7.45 for 8m start. Ends 9.30pm. Booking essential. Pay to secure your place £12. Please call the studio on: 01702 478 924 in advance. No drop in. Just a few places left!

An 8 week Chakradance course starts 19th February (same venue and times). **The course is open to anyone who has tried Chakradance. So if you fancy taking the course and you haven't yet tried Chakradance you'll need to book a place and try it on 12th February!
